January Favourites 2015
Hey girlies! I really need to keep track of the dates, I can’t believe we’re almost half way through February 🙁 I don’t have a lot of favs for Jan because it was quite a busy month for me since I had quite a few bookings, outings, family gatherings, assignments – and a concussion of everything else in between. Anyway without further ado, here are my January favourites!
Firstly, I don’t know why I can’t find the direct link to this particular kohl pencil on the Superdrug website, but if you are ever in the store and happen to come across it – GIVE IT A SWATCH AND YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE!
It is such a BEAUTIFUL BRONZE colour – and was used in this eyelook I had uploaded on Instagram:
I love using this loose powder to set my foundation, it manages to set everything without making me look cakey or add any colour. There’s loads of product, it’s cheaply priced and, despite it being a little messy to open and close, it gets the job done!
I’ve done a review of ABH’s pomade before, click here to read it, and since then I’ve purchased another one! I decided to get Auburn this time because I felt like Chocolate was a bit too dark for my liking and it made my brows look quite harsh. I have sparse brows and so I feel like Auburn is the best shade for me.
Here’s a side-by-side comparison of Auburn & Chocolate for anyone who is interested in purchasing either of them:
I love using the RT brow brush, it’s the perfect shape and size for me to fill my brows with. It doesn’t pick up too much product and applies the dipbrow pomade consistently without any streaks.
I ordered my black Z palette with my Makeup Geek orders (click here for MUG review). The royal blue Z palette was ordered from here – I would recommend this site for anyone who would like to purchase a Z palette, fast delivery and easy transaction!
I now own two large Z palettes and will definitely be buying some more! They make traveling with my makeup so easy, it’s perfect for my kit because it reduces size and space and is a neat and organised way to customize all your favourite eyeshadows in one palette!
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading last months favourites, I will be doing a post on the eyeshadows in the royal blue z palette very soon so stay tuned for that! 😉
