Collective Beauty Bay Haul

Collective Beauty Bay Haul

Hey ladies! If you’re new to this blog then welcome, and if you’re returning back to this after a while, then apologies for the overdue posts and thank you for coming back! ♥

I know it’s been such a darn long time since I last wrote a blogpost 😳 but Alhamdulillah exams and assignments are all finally out of the way for now so I’ve spent a lot more time trying to get this blog up and running again! The best way to ease myself into blog writing again is to start with a nice and easy haul post, and with that, today’s post is on a collective Beauty Bay haul. I’ve linked all the products directly to the Beauty Bay website so it’s easier for you all to find, along with the price of the items.

Here’s an overview of the few goodies I purchased:

One of the most raved about skincare/setting spray’s that many of the bloggers rave about is this Mario Badescu facial spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater (£10.25)

Since this is a collective haul – I had ordered this spray in mid-May and have been using it nonstop since then. It feels nice and refreshing on the skin as a toner, and does an even better job at setting my makeup in place. It doesn’t leave a wet looking texture on the skin and dries to a matte finish; which is perfect for me because I have super oily skin as it is!

For my face-based makeup items, I purchased these two:

The bareMinerals Well Rested Multi-Tasking Powder (£19.00) is actually a repurchase of mine because I was running low on my prior one – it truly works wonders for brightening up the under eyes.

One thing I’ve noticed this powder do more than the other powders that claim to be ‘brightening’ is that, because Well Rested is so finely milled, it really gets into every single crevasse of the under eyes so it doesn’t crease and I can wear it on its own without the need of any concealer at all. If anyone would like to see review/demo of this product then comment below and let me know! 🙂

An item that I was excited on arriving was the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer (£38.00)

Now I know judging from the picture above, SX16 is not my shade at all! Funnily enough though, I only purchased the KC SSE because it was on sale for approx ~£18 which, I was absolutely chuffed about when I saw as it usually retails for almost £40 😯 – so  the sale price was definitely a steal imo! I’ve immediately added it to my freelance kit for contouring/concealing on deeper-toned clients.

Much like most makeup junkies, liquid lipsticks are one of my favourite makeup items to own. Here is a close up of the lip products I had ordered:

Going from left to right we have:

IMG_8673Swatches of the liquid lipsticks:

I’ve owned the LA Splash liquid lipsticks since my mid-May purchase and I have fallen in love with the colours! The formula of the lipsticks themselves, despite their long and somewhat unnecessary names, seem quite similar to each other. I’ve found that these lipsticks tend to stay on the lips a lot longer than the Gerard Cosmetics ones, however for that reason, they are more drying than the GC ones.

The Wild Berry Tart is a new lipgloss GC have released and I must say, I’m quite drawn to glossy lips at times and can definitely see myself wearing this a lot more often! The smell and taste of this Wild Berry Tart is quite fruity, in a pleasant way. However I know some people aren’t too fond of scented/flavoured products so that may be something to bear in mind if you’re considering to purchase this. I haven’t owned this a long time to give a full verdict on the longevity of the gloss; however since Summer is here I’ll wear it more often and put it to the test.

The last few things I ordered from Beauty Bay were…

Morphe brushes!

I’ve always wanted to try them out because soooo many YouTubers rave on about them and I purchased a set and some single ones. I’ll be writing a separate post with an in-depth review and breakdown of the ones I’ve ordered so far, so stay tuned for that!

Thank you so much for reading and comment below and let me know if there’s anything from this haul post you’d like me to review/do a demo on!
