Skincare Haul: Holland & Barrett and Superdrugs

Skincare Haul: Holland & Barrett and Superdrugs

Heyy girlies! Recently I’ve really been into trying to improve the appearance of my skin, and I know that in order for me to reach a point where my skin can naturally glow without the use of a highlighter, is to take care of it both internally and externally.

I went to shop for very specific things today, and the reasons for that will be clear to you all in a moment!

So firstly, I popped into Superdrugs because I knew they were having an offer on some products, and that there was a ‘Save 1/3 offer’ for Biore items. Having heard so many people rave on about the Biore range, (their charcoal pore strips in particular) I grabbed these two products:

Biore Charcoal Cleanser £3.29 (RRP £5.19)

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips 6ct £5.99 (RRP £9.49)

If you follow me on Snapchat, then you’ll have already seen that I gave the pore strips a go today and they did work a treat for me! I had already cleansed my skin last night and made sure I gave my nose a good scrub, so there wasn’t much on my nose, however the pore strips did manage to take out all the clogs in my pores that were around my nostrils.

Anyway, after I collected the Biore products, I went to Holland and Barrett because I saw Habiba Da Silva (aka @Lifelongpercussion) post a picture of the apple cider vinegar tablets on her Snapchat, and I immediately put that on my list of things to buy. There are endless benefits to Apple Cider Vinegar, and I really despise consuming the liquid so seeing a tablet form of them was a huge relief for me! It was slightly overwhelming going into H&B because there are so many variations of the same thing, but after a careful browse, I grabbed this one:

Holland & Barret Apple Cider Vinegar (300mg) for £8.59

Holland & Barrett Aloe Vera Gel bought two for £5 (RRP £4.29 for one)

I found it slightly amusing that H&B had these 100ml gels on offer for two for £5 and the 200ml was still priced £7.49! The reason why I got the Aloe Vera gel was because I noticed that my spots were leaving quite dark marks and every time I cleansed, my skin felt sore and dry. So applying the gel will not only restore my skin to its natural health, but it will also reduce my dryness and dark pigmentation.

And that’s all folks! If anyone would like a review or update on how I’m finding any of the products I’ve mentioned, then do comment below and let me know!
