Stila ‘Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick’ Review

Stila ‘Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick’ Review

Hey everyone, I know it’s been a while since I’ve done a blog post but what better way to ease back into the groove of things than to do a product(s) review?! Now I’ve got a really bad online shopping habit – when I fall in love with a certain product, I tend to either restock or buy different shades of the same thing…

Exhibit A:

Some of you may have already seen my recent post on Instagram where I’ve uploaded my swatches of Patina and Aria:

Since then I’ve fallen in LOVE with the formulation and pigmentation of Stila’s Liquid Lipsticks and have added three new shades to my little collection. I felt that I was missing some classic red shades in my freelance kit and since I’ve been amazed by the stay power and pigmentation of these, I knew I had to purchase some more! I opted for a coral, a deep red and a bright red to add to my collection – Carina, Fiery and Beso.

I ordered Aria and Patina from Feel Unique and ordered Fiery, Carina and Beso from Beauty Bay.  Both these sites offer free delivery on orders over £10 for anyone interested!

The products go on wet and dry to a matte finish: 1Left to right: Carina, Fiery, Beso, Patina & Aria2Despite their matte finish I didn’t find them to be at all drying on the lips.

As you can see below, the colour of these liquid lipsticks are very true to what’s shown in the tube; there is nothing I dislike more than to put on a lipstick or lip gloss that does not mirror the colour that’s being displayed in its package!

The only downside to these amazing liquid lipsticks is their price. They retail for £15 which, lets face it, isn’t cheap! However one thing that’s great about Feel Unique or Beauty Bay is that they’ll often have 10% off sales or coupon codes that you could search for online (which is exactly what I did!).

Despite their price, the Stila liquid lipsticks really do stay on all day. I wore Patina and Aria for more than 9 hours and didn’t feel the need to top up on my lips at all throughout the day. So in a  way, you really do get your moneys worth – their long lasting formulation will mean less touch ups and therefore less re-application and wastage of the lipsticks.

All in all, I would definitely recommend for anyone to purchase/try out the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks, Aria and Patina are definitely my most favourite shades! If anyone has any other shades from this range that they’d recommend to me, comment below and let me know!

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post and catch up with you all soon!
